Pupiline Meets the Stars...Of The Spectacular Show
@ The Millennium Dome, Greenwich, London (Part 4)

NAME: Emma Lewis
AGE: 18

Emma, like all the other performers for the show, started her auditions for her part as dancer way back in 1998. Having completed a course in performing arts, she heard about The Millennium Dome needing performers and decided to go for it.

She described the auditions for her part as "intense", but said that it was all worth it and explained how she felt "like she was in a fairy tale" when she knew she was going to take part.

After the auditions, she undertook a year's training for her role - which involved not only the obviously demanding physical routines, but also a strict regime from the dietician! She told us how her typical day starts at 9.00am and finishes at 6.00pm - and with three performances during that time, she described her routine as exhausting!

When the Dome shuts its doors for the last time in December, Emma would like to go on to a possible career in Music, Theatre, or as a TV presenter. But she does plan to continue with her education before that, as she's had so much time off with her present commitments.
