MONDAYS are soon to host the new 'Most Wanted' nights, from 9-1am, playing a mixture of indie, dance, chart, house, commercial, R'n'B garage and pop, starting in October. Entry is £1 with a flyer, but only for the over 18's unfortunately.

 WEDNESDAY - Sound Academy's 'Big Night Out' plays alternative rock and indie music. Entry is just £1 before 10pm. 

 THURSDAYS are dance and garage nights with DJ James B, from 9 'til 2am. £4 entry - discount with flyer, no sportswear or caps allowed (strictly over 18's) 

 'RISQUE' is new for FRIDAY nights in September, one level playing a mix of house and trance, and the other level pumpin' out the sounds of garage and R'n'B. Doors open at 9pm and the night finishes at 3am. Discount with flyer before 11pm. 

 On SATURDAYS enjoy 2 levels of 'pumpin' sound, at the 'Academy of Sound' nights, with DJ's James B, Timmo, Karl Cross, Stu B and Jezza. 9-3am, over 20's only. 

 Sound Academy also has under 18's nights on TUESDAYS during school holidays. The next one is on the 24th of October. Tickets are £5 in advance and £6 on the door, internet discounts are also available for some events.

The cloakroom at Sound Academy is £1 per item, the bar sells water for 20p and other drinks at reduced prices with a flyer.

The club has recently added a VIP area for its special guests before they perform, and it's currently the only nightclub in Ipswich that has facilities to keep your drinks ice cold until they are sold to you.

The downstairs level of Sound Academy has double the amount of sound than upstairs, the DJ's have a massive 52kW to work with, which is the loudest in East Anglia.
