Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun - PC- Virgin Games - £35.99 - Out Now

This isn't the latest Command and Conquer game, there is Red Alert 2 - but this one's as good as it looks....and that’s good!

The gameplay in this is endless and it comes on two CD’s.

If you're not a Command and Conquer type of person - it's a game about the Nod (the bad guys) and the GDI (the good guys) trying to stop the forces of evil taking over the world.

The story goes like this.... the leader of Nod Kane has supposedly been killed (as in all the other Command and Conquer games) but the GDI chief gets an unexpected call chief that he's not dead! If you are GDI to must try to find and kill Kane but if you are Nod you must find Kane to release him.

The game is average sized,  but some of the stuff on it is very good. For example, if you control the light infantry and you get them to fire on something,  their body gear reflects the  gun fire.... and that is good.

As well as the battle scenes being 3D - there are also new things that come into play, like ion storms which stop all comunications and can destroy units and buildings.

You can also make your very own terrains in the skirmish mode out of one of three preset "zones" : 1) The Tiberium Infested Temperate Zone 2) The Very Cold Arctic Zone 3) The Devastated Urban Landscape Zone.

All in all, this is the best game in the C&C series and much better than the new Red Alert 2.

SO if you are still sitting at that old computer playing those old games and you want some fun - go and get this game because it has hours of killing fun.

 - a  very big 5/5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
