Games Reviews; Smackdown 2 & Pokemon PInball

Here's a look at two games on the market at the mo'.

Smackdown 2 - PSOne - Out Now

Verdict: A game that will put you right in the action.

Rating:

This game, in my words, is brill, cool and is just a damn good all around fantastic Playstation game... (Can you guess that I quite like it?)

The sequel to Smackdown has loads more to it than the first one. It has more characters to start with, the wrestlers Too Cool, Taz and a lot more. The graphics are very good and so is the game play, which is incredibly addictive and I guarantee you'll be playing it for a long time after you bought it. Little changes to the original have made big differences as well, like before when you chucked someone over the ropes they fell back into the ring but now they go right over the ropes and hit the floor....bang!

A great game and a sure fire number one in the sales charts, which would reflect its' brilliance.

Pokemon Pinball - Gameboy Colour - Out Now

Verdict: Pokemon Pinball another piece to the never-ending puzzle.

Rating:

This game is another piece to that annoying puzzle that is Pokemon. It's another bit of cash-in merchandise, which means everyone will go out and buy it, so it will be a big hit...although it doesn't really deserve to be.

Pokemon Pinball is a very basic game, there is no story line like the other games all you have to do us try and catch the Pokemon. There are two 'fields' that you can play, these are blue and red. They're two totally different fields, in one it is very easy to catch Pokemon and in the other it is very hard to catch a Pokemon but easy to evolve a Pokemon.

Also on both sides of the flippers there are holes where if your ball (which is a Pokemon ball) goes down you lose it. However, if you get a 'special', you can get some thing called "Pikahu Kickbacks", they kickback your Pokemon back in to the game and you've not lost out.

I said this at the start and I will say it again this game is bad but it will be a good seller because it is a Pokemon game.
