Work Experience Stories: Oli, Working @ KeConnect Systems Ipswich

I spent 3 weeks work experienced at KeConnect Systems in Ipswich. I had a great time. I was lucky in that I am seriously interested in the area of work that KeConnect are involved in, so I was able to get stuck into the work that they were doing, and found it very interesting. It also allowed me to get skills in an area of work I was very interested in. I also learned how to manage my own time, and how to work to strict deadlines for external clients.

I landed the position because I had known the guys at KeConnect for a while, and decided to write to them and ask for work experience.

The advice I would give is, if you have a career or job you are interested in, and you know a local business that does it, then write to them and see what you get; its much better than getting a placement digging potatoes when you want to be a laywer!!!
