"Exams are part of everyone's life, if you think about it, everyone has had to sit exams, whether it is a footballer, a doctor, a teacher, an actress or even the Chairman. Don 't be frightened off by the word 'exam', it only means you get to prove how much you understand the subject. So don't stress!!! I have had good and bad results from exams, and each match that I play is like sitting an exam. It is about proving who you are, studying is like training, so think of it as getting a result for all your hard work. Can you imagine training all year and never playing a game!!! You want to see some results for all that hard work! So study in manageable chunks don't study all night long, leaving it to the last minute, you will only fall asleep!! Make sure you put time aside to eat and sleep so your brain is ready for the exam. Take some time out for exercise, get some fresh air, clear the mind and then go back for more, you don't want information overload all at once, pace yourself. Keep the exam in perspective, the result is up to you. If you want the best results you can, then you have to study for them. I spend hours training and when put to the test, hopefully it pays off and we score. When it comes to the test this is your chance, so go for it!! Be prepared and arrive early for the exam, I once studied really hard for my English exam but I was late getting to the exam and only finished half of it, so I didn't get full value (or results!!!) for all my hard work. Arrive early, take a deep breath and then read through the paper before you decide to answer. Make a plan before answering your questions so you don't run out of time. Answer with confidence, you can do it! Don't let stress drain you of your energy, but put that energy into your studies and get the best result you can! Good Luck. Keep watching pupiline - the advice is good - follow it!" Matt Holland Captain, Ipswich Town Football Club
