Dom's World Beating England Football Team

Here it is, in response to Chris M & Pete's England XI, my own attempt at getting a team together out of the great football players we have in this country. So I hope you agree that I've got the cream of the crop from the premiership. This is my team of world beaters!

                                          Chris Stringer

Kieron Dyer       Rio Ferdinand       Sol Campbell       Gareth Barry

David Beckham      Paul Scholes       Steve McManaman

Kevin Phillips

Robbie Fowler       Michael Owen

On the Bench: Jonathan Woodgate, Andy Cole, Alan Smith, Joe Cole, Dominic Matteo, Emile Heskey, Richard Wright

Pete's Response: Well it's a start dom, too attacking perhaps? Do you  think that we need someone in midfield to win the ball back and give the defense slightly more cover? The Liverpool pairing of Fowler and Owen upfront has the potential for goals, if they both stay injury free, but I'm stll concerned about the lack of someone who can play on the left (personally i dont think macca's up to it)
