Mobile Shortcuts...Part 1 Pictures and Symbols

We've all got a mobiles and we all love text messaging our mates. However does everybody know or remember the little shortcuts that we can take to avoid typing out long messages to our mates? Well if you don't here's a good 2-part guide to all the shortcuts that you should know for your mobile.

There are two types of shortcuts that you can use, firstly you can use pictures symbols instead of the useful text for certain like all these;

• J is a happy face, you can make this by hitting : then  – then )
  
  
• Then there is ;-) this is a smiley face but with a twist is winking(useful for all you pupiline fans). Make this by entering ; then – then )
  
  
• Enter these three symbols :-@ and it means you are swearing.
  
  
• L is a sad face. Hit : then – then ( to make L if you're unhappy about something.
  
  
• If you need a moustached face for some strange reason then  this one is for you :-{ Type : then – then {
  
  
• If you like monkeys or someone's cheeky like a monkey the try this, : then = and then ) which makes :=)
  
  
• If you know someone who's a dunce, press < then – and finally I and it makes <:-I
  
  
• If you like punk stuff you can use this side =:-), which apparently this looks like a punk rocker.
  
  
• If you are a bit of a devil or a Man Utd fan then use this, > then : then – then ) then > and it makes >:-)>, which is a devil.
  
  
• For Coco the Clown, if soemone is messing about or you just want to scare the crap out of soemone, use * then < then : then a o then ) and you get *<:o)
  
  
• Charlie Chaplin, that cheeky silent movie chappy, is c then the letter l then : then – then = then ) and it looks like cl:-=)
  
  
• Getting in the festive mood well here is a Santa Claus, hit the * button then < then : then – then ) and finally > to make your Santa look like this *<:-)>
  
  
• Finally for Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, press the number 3 then : then a red * then a ) to make your reindeer with a red nose look like this 3:*)
