World O'Gadgets....News 2

Greetings my loyal gadget fans, David O'Gadget here again- Pupiline's resident gadget boffin, reporting on some of the best gadgets available to you.

Each week, I'll be telling you what's caught my beady gadget eye, with  a run-down of gizmos that are simply too corking to ignore - Oh Boy!

Canned-Heat Mini Radio Controlled Cars.

Wowee! When I spotted these mini wonders, I just couldn't believe my eyes!

These "Canned-Heat" lil' radio controlled car gadgets come in their own "car-can" (which doubles up as the controller) so you can imagine how mini they are. Despite their miniature size though, they're perfect in every way - and the steering and speed of these beauties is very impressive

"The best gadgets come in small packages!"

The "Canned-Heat" car gadgets can be used indoors and out, and with two different frequencies available, you'll be able to race against a friend in your own "gadget grand prix!" - Crumbs!

£29.95 from www.firebox.com

(Requires 4 x AA batteries (not supplied); frequencies available are 27MHz and 49MHz.)

 Smokey Amp Guitar Amplifier.

"Twannnnnnng Twang Twannnnnnnng" - that's the noise I make when I'm practising my electric guitar at home. Oh Boy! I always end up annoying the neighbours because my amplifier is just too loud....

But wait! Here comes the "Smokey Amp" amplifier-in-a-cigarette-packet gadget.

Continuing my mini-gadget theme for a moment, these tiny wonders are the exact size of a cigarette packet, yet somehow work just like a normal  sized ampifier.

They're quite loud too, so I found mine was perfect for practising without annoying the neighbours - Great! no more banging on the walls of my bedsit!

£24.95 from www.firebox.com

(requires one square battery)

Moonlight Pathfinder 2000 Night Vision Goggles.

"The name's Gadget, David O'Gadget....with a license to report the very best in gadgets each week."

In order to keep up my "Secret Gadget Agent" image, I could really do with a pair of these "Moonlight Pathfinder 2000" night-vision-goggles-gadgets.

These smart goggles come complete with full head harness allowing hands free usage, even at a jogging pace. They have a superb clear image and only require 2 LR1 batteries - making them ideal for when I go hunting (or any other nocturnal activity) - Crumbola!

 £799.00 (Crumbs! - DG) from www.big-boys-toys.net

(Features: comfortable, fully adjustable head harness · Padded shoulder bag · Built in infrared illuminator · Flip and lock facility · Optional 3x6 binocular lenses available · Size - 137x113x58mm, Weight - 520g)

Koby Interactive Talking Bear.

With Christmas around the corner, there's never been a better time for gadget shopping - when I was out looking for presents on the net, I came across this great "Koby Interactive Talking Bear" gadget.

Sadly, this fab talking bear gadget is only available in the USA at the mo - but Oh Boy! I just have to tell what Koby can do.....

Apparently, "Koby is the next generation in interactive toys" - he features artificial intelligence, voice recognition, and a 400-word vocabulary. He plays math and ABC games with kids; even making square roots fun!

Koby reminds me a lot of Teddy Ruxspin - an older talking bear gadget who, like Koby, would talk, wink, whistle and sing - recognising the voices of girls and boys who are willing to love him....ahhhhh.

£45.99 from www.igadget.com

(Uses 4 "AA" batteries (included) - measures 61/4" tall.)

Well that's just about it for this week. I do hope you've enjoyed my collection of gadgets - and now, it's time to ask you a favour.

It would be really tremendous if you'd join my "Gadget Gang" and send in details of any gadgets that are brill and which you think everyone should know about. All you budding inventors out there could even send in your ideas for gadgets that you think should be made - send your ideas to: davidogadget@pupiline.net

See you next time....

All of this weeks gadgets are available from:
