Summer Surf Wear

Summer’s here guys and gals, so it is time to get into your surf wear and head down the beach. Whether you’re lucky enough to be going to a hot climate and want to fry on the beach, or you’re gonna be a surf bum on your local beach all summer, make sure that you’ll be looking hot in the latest swimwear!

The surf brands have made it big time this season and are hopefully set to stay. Whether you’re looking for Roxy/Quiksilver, or want to be sporting the latest Billabong or O’Neill clothing, head down to your local surf shop and become a surfing stud in your boardies or become a beach babe in a bikini!

Boardies for the Blokes

The surf wear is looking particularly hot this season for you guys. Forget your Speedo’s, swimming trunks and what ever else your mum’s bought you over the past few years from Debenhams or any of the similar high street shops! You want to become a surfer! Most of the fashion brought out by the different surf companies is based on what their sponsored surfers like to wear when riding the waves. So its gonna be trendy and stylish as well as very colourful for the sunny season.

Billabong and Quiksilver shorts are the particular favourites this year from all of the guys. Billabong has gone for a lot of reversible styles, which is wicked! Two pairs of shorts for the price of one, what a bargain! The best thing about the reversible shorts is that one side is very plain and neutral so could be worn for any type of occasion on the beach. The other side contains the explicitly loud colours, which is just great if you really want to show your presence on the beach – it’ll certainly be an eye catcher with the girls!

Quiksilver has gone for the extremely popular knee length shorts. You guys don’t want to be wearing hot pants on the beach. You want something that resembles your normal everyday walk shorts but has got the material that will withstand the salty old seawater.

Bright patterns and Hawaiian flowers are, as usual, very big among the surfers this summer. Any make you look at (Rip Curl, Mambo, O’Neill as well as Quiksilver and Billabong) will have large prints and bright colours. So be bold guys and choose an extravagant pair. It will certainly get the attention of the girls as well as looking the part on the beach! And for those who aren’t so brave then there are a lot of plain pairs that are equally as nice and highly fashionable. Happy Surfing!

Bikinis for the Beach Babes

There are loads of different styles out this summer for all of you surfer chicks. Your bikini wants to be bright, have large flowery prints and certainly wants to show your presence when you walk onto any beach. Accessories are also a must have this season. Team your bikini with a sarong, bikini skirt or vest top, or even a beach dress. Not only will you look like a total beach babe but the accessories will also hide any flaws you’re not too happy about. And to all the guys on the beach you will look absolutely perfectgreat trick!

O’Neill have matched plain (and very flattering) designs with reasonably bright and certainly summary colours this season. Choose from halter neck bikinis to vest top and short bikinis, or even underwired ones for that extra support! There are loads of different designs to suit every different body shape. Colours range from the good old faithful black to a bright fuscia pink, and any colour in between!

Billabong and Roxy have stuck to their very popular loud designs. If you want to be a true surf chick and want everyone to know that you are on the beach then stick with these brands. The prints include loud Hawaiian flowers combined with bright pinks or blues. If the bikini doesn’t include a loud print then expect the colour to be even brighter. We are talking sunglasses needed here! Which is great because why would you want to spend money on a nice bikini if all you’re gonna do is blend into the background!

V Doll has also got an amazing range of bikinis out this summer. All of the designs included are extremely pretty and have a distinctive oriental look to them. If you’re going abroad and want to go for the Mediterranean look then team this brand of bikini up with a very deep tan and you’ll turn into an instant babe magnet! The best thing about these bikinis is that they are part of a mix ’n’ match range. So you can choose whatever colour, pattern, style and size you want and create your own bikini – How cool is that? This is also good for those of us who aren’t the same size all over!

For those who want to be amazingly daring or happen to have an annoyingly perfect body, then look for Reef’s bikinis. These are for the ultimately glamorous beach babe and will have a jaw dropping effect on any guy – lets just say there isn’t a lot to them! Forget bright colours here, Reef has gone for the classic colours of white and black but teamed this up with some rather racy designs! Try them out if you dare!
