What's Cool in...OZ - Edition 3

Hi! When something comes in fashion, it usually stays 'in' for a few months, and then goes 'out' for a few months, then it's just forgotten. That is why you will notice that the What's Hot & What's Not lists have not changed much since the last time I wrote. Because of that I have made a new section to go with the What's Hot & What's Not section. I've called it What's Up In Oz. It will contain all the latest goss from Australia and will hopefully change a bit more than the What's Hot & What's Not Section. I hope you like it! May I also say Hi to my friends who want to be famous for a few days- Ben, Daniel, Rhys, Rory & Tony.

What's Hot

What's Not

Micro Scooters (again)

Shane Warne (you'll probably know why)

Motor Scooters

Hansie Cronje (you'll probably know why as well)

What's Up...in Oz

Australians are still trying to get over Shane Warne's latest act of stupidness. We all thought that the thirty year old was starting to grow up, then he proves us all wrong, by making some stupid phone calls to a pommie nurse! Also, still talking cricket, Australia is just as shocked about Hansie Cronje. Why did he do it?

I'm not sure if you would of heard about the movies- 'Crocodile Dundee' & 'Crocodile Dundee 2'. They'e two movies that Aussies love. So the good news is that Crocodile Dundee 3 will be filmed in Australia's sunshine state, Queensland. I'm looking foward to when it comes out!

Back to sport, and no offence to you poms, but Australia, once agai,n can't believe what English soccer (You call it football) fans will do for their team. We don't think throwing the England team out of Euro 2000 is a bad idea. It might teach the hooligans a lesson or two. There's more to life than soccer (or football!).

I have just heard the England lost to Romania 2-3. UEFA won't have to worry about deciding on what will happen. I bet they are happy, even the English people in the association!

I heard somewhere that in a recent survey done by 1,000 different English men, almost all of the said that they would rather learn fancy dance steps than fancy soccer (football) steps. Even poetry writing was more popular than soccer!

I also heard that sugar has been found in a giant gas cloud, near the centre of our galaxy, by scientists. Maybe they could invent a giant coffee machine and put it up near the cloud. They would have an endless sugar supply!

My Tip For Euro 2000

With both England and Germany out of the running, I reckon it has to be between Italy and France. My tip is Italy.

That's the latest from Oz!
