What's Cool in...OZ - Edition 1

Hi,

I'm Lachlan - and I'm an Australian guy, living near Melbourne, which is "Neighbours Country!!! This bit is where I'll let u guys know what is and ain't cool over here in Oz

Hi! I'm your Australian correspondent bringing you the latest news of what's hot and what's not in Oz. In my last installment I told you that one of the coolest things around at the moment are blade scooters.

After I wrote that, the maker of pupiline.net himself, Oli Watts e-mailed me and said that he had purchased one of the scooters. It sounds like the scooters aren't just popular in my land. Blade scooters are still very popular over here but I have some new info on Australian cool stuff for you.

What's hot

What's not

Blade scooters (still no1. !)

Short Shorts

Motorised scooters

Tracksuit Pants

Flexi-fit hats

Computer Viruses!

Hawaiian Shirts/Shorts

Cargo Shorts/ Pants

Jeans

Skate Watches

Bands like Blink 182 and Grinspoon

Australia is a very different place to other countries when it comes to what's cool and what's not.

What's Cool

'Blade Scooters' are very popular at the moment. They are a cross between skateboards and scooters. They're quite small, silver and have only two wheels. Now that the summer has ended, the surfing is stopping and skateboarding and scooters are seen around a lot more.

couldn't you watch this for hours........................hours............................hours.........................hours............hours...........hours...........hours =) Clothes wise, good old cargo shorts and pants are still very popular, although they are slowly going out of fashion. With the Sydney Olympics coming up Australia is going wild with official merchandise and souvenirs from the games.

What's Not

And what is not in at the moment? Short shorts! Anyone seen wearing short shorts (especially guys) in Oz, are automatically thought of as absolute weirdoes.

That's all from over in Oz, this was the news from down under.
