Oli Meets Brittney  No not Ms Spears, but maybe 13 year old singing sensation Brittney Cleary might be as famous very soon. After our little chat about music last week, I caught up with Brittney to discuss about the Internet and how it's used by people of our age, amongst other things, and here are the results.
How often you go on line? All the time, when I'm getting ready and use it talk to my friends, access is a lot cheaper in the US Do you use it more? No still use it as much as ever to talk to my friends Should Chat be banned? I don't think you should talk to people you don't know in chat room as they can turn out to be not what you expect, It's better if you just talk to people on your buddy list, im'ing is the way forward.  How can you keep safe in chat rooms?
Don't give out your details and make sure the site has advice on how to keep safe, don't put your details in your profile, and don't give out your e-mail address. Has fame affected you? Not really, not really no Is it difficult at school due to what is going on around you? My friends talk about it to me, I never bring it up as I don't wanna be in people's faces, but my friends sometime do as they want to know some stuff but they don't treat me differently because I have a deal. Is it easy for young people to become famous? Nah-eh, it’s difficult as people really don't want to hear a 12 year old sing don't give them a chance a lot of the time.  So did you have an Agent to help you out with this?
I did it on my own but my Daddy's very helpful, they often told me to leave without even listening to the tape but I got there in the end. What technology could you not live without? The Phone, I love talking to my friends Do you have a Mobile/Cell phone? No not yet but I'm getting one for my birthday, they're not that big in states but they're really popular for text messaging your friends. Do you read many magazines? Yeah I read Teen, 17 or any special editions with people like Britney Spears in it, Cosmo Girl is quite good for hair, beauty and make-up.  What do you think of the young person's role in the future, you think it will be an exciting future to be part for young people, will we be accepted more in having an important part and role?
