Wheatus – Teenage Dirtbag

I totally love this song. It has a great beat, great chorus and for a pop/rock song, it’s definitely cracking good stuff. The lyrics always make me laugh and the video is excellent. Basically, it’s an all round absolutely brilliant song – definitely number 1.

Matchbox 20 – If You’re Gone

Last summer, Rob Thomas the lead singer of Matchbox 20 appeared on Santana’s hit 'Smooth'. If you like that – you’ll love this. It’s a ballad with a slightly pop chorus – more rocky though. If you don’t buy Wheatus – buy this.

Papa Roach – Last Resort

The first time I heard this song I thought it was Limp Bizkit. I’m sure there’s a difference between the groups but needless to say – it’s a great song. It has really powerful lyrics combined with an amazing rock beat. Not bad at all.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals – Loco

I’ve always been a fan of the Criminals and this song does not disappoint. It has a really cool sound – a jazzy guitar mixed in with Huey’s deep voice. It’s just 'the' song to relax to.
