Pop Update 20...The Latest Reviews from the World of Pop

: Absolutely Fantastic, A must have.

: Really Good, Buy It.

: Worth a listen.

: Give it a miss.

: Whose bright idea was this.

Ash – Shining Light

If you liked Feeder’s song "Buck Rogers", you’ll love this. It’s an upbeat pop/rock song. It’ll definitely have you rockin’ along and believing that you are a shining light.

U2 – Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of

I absolutely love this song. The first time I heard it I thought it was such a nice song. It’s a great ballad. It’s so great I was "forced" to get the album. The combination of lyrics and the solid tune makes this song top notch stuff. A great song to listen to when you’re studying for exams.

Atomic Kitten – Whole Again

It’s a poptastic (sorry) tune. It’s quite a slow ballad but nevertheless a good song. The lyrics are lovely and although not quite as good as U2’s ballad, it’s a good attempt.

Mya – Case of the Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do)

I loved the last song Mya sung, "Ghetto Superstar". This song though is far better. It’s solid R&B. The mixture of Mya’s gorgeous voice and the dance floor beat sounds absolutely amazing. Definitely a tune that’s going to do well in the charts.

Evan and Jaron – Crazy for This Girl

Although this song might not do too well in the charts it’s definitely worth a mention. As a huge 'Dawson’s Creek' fan, when I saw the video I got pretty excited. When I listened to the lyrics I got even more excited. It’s a brilliant pop song with a great chorus and a definite must for all of the "Pacey" fans out there.
