Pop Update 19...The Latest Reviews from the World of Pop : Absolutely Fantastic, A must have. : Really Good, Buy It. : Worth a listen. : Give it a miss. : Whose bright idea was this. Martine McCutcheon – On The Radio Martine’s latest release is a bit different from her others. It’s a cover of the 70’s classic by Donna Summer. It’s an upbeat song but I don’t think Martine sounds right singing it. I wish I could say that I liked it, but I don’t. I think Martine should stick to the ballads we all know and lover her for. Nice try though. Anastacia – Not That Kind Of Girl I loved 'I’m Outta Love' – her first release, but I think she should have released another upbeat song. This, although catchy, doesn’t really have the same vibrancy the first song had. It’s a bit too slow and doesn’t really burst into the rhythm she had with her first release. Let’s hope she’ll do better next time. Baha Men – You All Dat This has to be one of the most infectious songs I’ve heard in a long time. I must have been one of the very few people to hate their first release "Who Let The Dogs Out?" but this release is actually okay. My friends caught me singing along to this – I hope there’s a cure. Dr. Dre ft Snoop Dog – The Next Episode I’ve become a big fan of Dr. Dre ever since he appeared with Eminem in 'Guilty Conscious'. This song will definitely have you bouncing and swaying along. It’s a solid tune with a solid chorus. Snoop Dog’s voice goes really well with Dre’s making this song – top notch stuff.
