Pop Update 14...The Latest Reviews from the World of Pop

: Absolutely Fantastic, A must have

: Really Good, Buy It

: Worth a listen

: Give it a miss

: Whose bright idea was this?

Bon Jovi – Thank You For Loving Me

This is the third release from the album "Crush". It’s a beautiful ballad with some of the nicest lyrics I’ve heard all year. For those of you who didn’t buy Ronan’s single last week, make me happy and buy Bon Jovi’s this week.

Melanie C – If That We Were Me

I really like Melanie’s latest release. It’s a really mellow tune with a catchy chorus. The lyrics are really poignant and I’m sure they apply to all of us. Go out there and buy it, especially since the proceeds go to charity.

Madonna – Don’t Tell Me

This is totally different from Madonna’s last single 'Music'. 'Don’t Tell Me' goes into the realms of country to produce a catchy up-tempo mood which will definitely do well in the charts. Hopefully more of the same is to come.

Billie – Walk of Life

I prefer this song to Billie’s last song. It’s more upbeat and has a catchier chorus. Although not quite as good as 'Day and Night' it’s still a nice song which is sure to have you all singing along, although whether you walk the walk of life, with Billie, is up to you.

Foo Fighters – Next Year

I’ve never been a big Foo Fighters fan but after the summer holidays, when my brother played them constantly, I’m hooked. I loved 'Breakout' and this song is equally good. It’s a really mellow tune – a tune to sway along to.

The Music Industry
What do you think of the British Music Industry at the moment?
Great, all the music in the charts is fantastic
OK, there's not too much good stuff around though
Terrible and Westlife are the worst band of all time!
