Pop Update 13...The Latest Reviews from the World of Pop

: Absolutely Fantastic, A must have

: Really Good, Buy It

: Worth a listen

: Give it a miss

: Whose bright idea was this?

Leann Rimes – Can’t Fight The Moonlight

I haven’t been a big fan of Leann’s last few releases but I love this one. The opening is brilliant, the lyrics are brilliant and the chorus is well, brilliant. It’s a good mixture of a nice ballad and a pop song. Hopefully it will do well in the charts.

N’Sync – This I Promise You

This is one of my favourite songs from their album, "No Strings Attached". It’s a beautiful ballad that will have anyone in tears by the end of it. The harmonies in this song amplify the lovely lyrics. Although not as catchy as "Bye Bye Bye" it’s definitely worth buying.

Point Break - What about us

After their last release I’ve really started to like Point Break. I’m not too sure about the opening to the song but I really like the chorus. I like the little rap bit in the middle, it makes it slightly different to the other ballads released this week.

Savage Garden – Hold Me

This is another upbeat song from the Australian duo. As usual the lyrics are excellent. I really like the guitar in this song. It accompanies Darren’s voice nicely. Although not number one material it’s still one of the best "feel good" songs this year.

The Music Industry
What do you think of the British Music Industry at the moment?
Great, all the music in the charts is fantastic
OK, there's not too much good stuff around though
Terrible and Westlife are the worst band of all time!
