Pop Update 11 - The Latest Reviews from the World of Pop

: Absolutely Fantastic, A must have

: Really Good, Buy It

: Worth a listen

: Give it a miss

: Whose bright idea was this?

Martine Mccutcheon – I’m Over You

Martine’s latest release is another lovely ballad. It’s more upbeat than 'Perfect Moment' but is still really good. It’s not the best song to buy this week but it’s not bad. It could do with it having a slightly catchier chorus and I’m not too sure about the video, nevertheless – it wouldn’t be Martine without these little flaws.

Coldplay - Trouble

I didn’t find much difference between this song and their last release – "Yellow". The lyrics are really nice though and the piano accompaniment compliments it nicely. It’s another mellow tune to definitely listen to when you’re stressed.

Moby – Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad

I’m not usually a fan of Moby, but this is pretty good. It’s a very mellow song (Moby’s usual) and it has a catchy chorus, although you won’t sing along to it because it would eventually drive you crazy.

Westlife - My Love

As a huge fan of Westlife, I feel that this song is one of their best. I love the chorus, the verse and everything about it. It’s such a nice song. The lyrics are absolutely brilliant and as this is the first release from their new album 'Coast to Coast', I hope more of the same will follow.
