Pop Update 9 - The Latest Reviews from the World of Pop

: Absolutely Fantastic, A must have

: Really Good, Buy It

: Worth a listen

: Give it a miss

: Whose bright idea was this?

All Saints – Black Coffee

When I first heard this song, I really didn’t like it. After listening to it thousands of times, it has really grown on me and although not the best song to buy this week, it’s a slamming tune.

Eminem – The Way I Am

I didn’t think anything could match "The Real Slim Shady", but I was wrong. No one escapes the wrath of Eminem, it’s pointed at everyone and I think that’s the reason I love it so much. It has one of the catchiest choruses I’ve heard this year but don’t buy this one until you’ve heard Everclear.

Everclear – Wonderful

The first time I heard this song (out of everything "wonderful" about it) the words really stood out. The tune is lovely, it has a catchy chorus and like all good pop songs has 'Nah Nah' bits to it. If you’re not sure what I mean, buy the single. Like Eminem, this song applies to everyone and if it makes any difference, it’s just gone 'Top Ten' in America – make it go Number.1 here.

Texas – In Demand

I’ve never been a big fan of Texas but this song is pretty good. It has a good, solid tune and chorus. Unlike most songs however, the more times I hear it, the worse I think it is.
