Lachie's Guide To Music In Oz

When you ask any teenager what their hobbies are, listening to music would definitely be the most common answer. Because music is such an important part of our lives, I have put together 'Lachie's Guide To Music In Oz!". It's meant to give you all the latest on, what bands, groups and singers, teenagers in Oz are listening to. Every article I will recommend the top 3 bands, groups or singers that us 'Aussies' are listening to.

Here are the Bands of the Moment:

28 Days

If you read "What's Cool in Oz #4" you will have noticed that this great Australian band are in the 'What's Hot' list. They sing Alternative style music and are quite new. They became 'really' recognised when they did a song for the movie Mission Impossible 2 and are now one of the most popular bands in the country. They probably aren't very big in the UK yet so if you want to here any of their songs the Internet is definitely the way to have a listen.

Limp Bizkit

The other band that I put on the 'What's Hot' list. They're an American band that sings Alternative style music. I don't know whether it's a coincidence or what, but Limp Bizkit also did a song for M:I 2, Take a Look Around. They've been around for a while but a becoming 'more and more' popular. I'm guessing that they are already pretty popular in the UK so most of you probably already know if you like them or not.

Blink 182

Everybody would have heard of Blink 182 and everybody either loves or hates their songs. In Australia they have been popular for a while and in a couple of months they are coming to Oz for a tour. They also sing Alternative style, which you probably know already because they must be popular in the UK, due to the great video to 'All Those Small Things', which takes a pop at The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears.

Keep on the lookout for the next music in oz article coming soon when three new bands or singers will be introduced.
