Pop Update 2

What's Up In the 'World of Pop',

- absolutely fantastic
- still worth buying
- not bad
- definitely not one to buy
- who's bright idea was it to release this as a song?

Dr.Dre feat. Eminem - Forget About Dre

Once again Dr. Dre has masterminded a lyrical masterpiece that will definitely do well in the charts. Whenever I listen to this song I can't help joining in and although I am not a big fan of rap, this song has left a lasting impression with me.

Travis - Coming Around

This latest song from Travis is slightly more upbeat and not as depressing as their other songs. As I have friends who know the band, I am slightly biased towards Travis, but nevertheless, I think you'll agree that this is one of their better songs.

Stephen Gately - New Beginning

Although, I'm sorry to say, I am a fan of Boyzone, I never really liked Stephen. In fact, I kind of "wanted to rip off my arm just so that I would have something to throw at him". But, as Ronan would say, "Fair play to him y'know". Despite my lack of enthusiasm for this song, and my attempts to try and stop everyone I know from buying it, I'm sure it will go straight to number one.

Mikey Graham - You're My Angel

Mikey's attempt at his first solo single is slightly better than Stephen's but, due to recent events, I doubt if I will be buying this single either. The only difference I can see between Mikey's new sound and Boyzone's is that Mikey plays a guitar, and although this song is a ballad, it does have a little more of an edge to it.
The critics have been saying that Mikey and Stephen will be battling it out for the number one spot, but personally, if one of them has to go to number one, I would prefer it to be Mikey.
