What is the survey about?

Families - like everything else, have been changing over the last century. People have fewer children, more mums are working, people split up and new families form. A study at Oxford University is finding out what mums, dads and young people think about family life.

  • What aspects of life do they feel are most important?
  • What would they like government to know or do?
  • How are mothers’ and fathers’ roles changing from what they used to be?
  • What does this mean for how we live now?

Now they're asking you to add your ideas and opinions.

Your answers will help them design a questionnaire for young people in schools around Britain.

If anybody wants to know more about the study, please e-mail Dr Ann Buchanan at Oxford University.
